CRM 600

STRANASKA® glass filters with specific cutoff (edge) spectra are intended for the assessment of stray radiant energy (stray light) in molecular absorption spectrophotometers in the ultraviolet and visible regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The CRM 600 measurement standard is comprised of three different filters which facilitate testing in three different regions of the spectrum. The test measurement principle of this standard is derived from the test measurement principle of NIST SRM 2032.

In the ultraviolet spectral region, the science-based calibration procedure ensures rigorous measurement traceability of the certified photometric values and uncertainties of Filter 628 and Filter 638 to NIST SRM 2031. In the visible spectral region, the science-based calibration procedure ensures rigorous measurement traceability of the certified photometric values and uncertainties of Filter 647 to NIST SRM 1930 and NIST SRM 2930.
