STRANASKA® Spectral Bandwidth/Resolution Standard

In fact, the STRANASKA method does not necessarily require that you need to even purchase a new standard – Stranaska Scientific may be able to add the spectral bandwidth (resolution) functionality to one of the standards that you probably already have.

Stranaska CA2M 719 is a certified reference material artifact that is intended for the verification and validation of the spectral bandwidth (SBW) of molecular absorption spectrophotometers in the ultraviolet (UV) region of the electromagnetic spectrum. First issued in 2015, the CA2M 719 product has been proven to provide significant advantages over the out-dated toluene/hexane solution. The CA2M 719 solution is flame-sealed in a fused-silica cuvette of optical quality. The science-based calibration procedure ensures rigorous measurement traceability of the certified apparent absorbance ratios to the NIST SRM 1935a and/or NIST SRM 2031 series photometric standards.
